Loyola Academy formally created a Lacrosse Club in 1987 joining the Chicago area lacrosse club league.  The first season was difficult as the club had a record of 1 win and 6 losses.  Under the leadership of Coach Mike Feuer the team dramatically improved going on to win the 1990, 1991, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2012 State Championships.  Along the way there have been 22 state semi-final appearances and  19 state championships appearances winning 9.  They have 19 All-Americans, 3 academic All-Americans and 10 High School North South participants. The most decorated player, Todd Rassas, was a 3 time Division 1 college All-American, played for the New Jersey Pride and Chicago Machine in the MLL and was a two time member of Team USA being elected captain in 2002.
